Rational opens a new subsidiary in Dubai

Rational AG has strengthened its commitment to the Middle East by introducing a subsidiary office in Dubai. The German manufacturer for professional kitchen equipment, with the new location and high-tech demo kitchen, now has two offices in Dubai.
Rational revealed that it wants to be close to customers to understand their needs to offer customised solutions. The team is led by Simon Parke Davis, managing director, and has grown to 13 employees.
The company has a strong and extensive service network comprising trained technicians, chefs, and a specialised application support team in the Middle East region.
Alexander Wimmer, senior area vice president business development EMEA, Rational International AG, said: “Middle East is an important market for Rational and we see great potential there. After being in this region for more than 10 years, now the new office and training centre in Dubai is a major milestone for the further development and our support for the Middle East markets.”
He added: “The newly opened Rational training centre is equipped with the very latest kitchen technology: two SelfCookingCenter and one VarioCooking Center linked with ConnectedCooking, our latest innovation.”
Regular seminars and cooking events will be held to offer hands-on opportunities for customers and showcase all the advantages of using the Rational combi-steamers and multifunctional cooking devices in the kitchen.
Rational customers will be able to get individually trained to operate the equipment. The training centre will also be used for research and food developing of local cuisine as well as for trainings of partners, service partners and agents, planners and dealers’ sales teams, Rational revealed.
“With our new cooking and training possibilities, our dealers can now further develop their Rational knowledge and end customers can better utilise their Rational units”, explained Parke-Davis.
