Silentnight highlights new spring technology at The Hotel Show 2017

Approximately 75% of Silentnight's portfolio currently carries the new spring technology

Silentnight  UAE is highlighting new spring technology in its portfolio of mattress products at The Hotel Show 2017, taking place at Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC), managing director Chris Gourdie revealed during an interview with Hotelier Middle East."We are promoting our new exclusive spring units which we bring from Legett & Platt, the largest spring makers in the world; we bring thme from their South African factory," Gourdie said.He continued: "There's 'Soft Touch' pocket sprung and there's 'Ergo Coil' which provides continual support and then there's the new 'Verti Coil' which is a new derivative of the original spring units used in the bedding industry."Gourdie said that his company is focusing on promoting the three products extensively for The Hotel Show.

"These products are exclusive to Silentnight in  this region," he declared, adding that, "It's quite exciting for us and allows us to add quality and more of a technical spring technology to our range."

He explained further that 75% of Silentnight's portfolio currently carries the new spring technology and revealed that the old spring units were being phased out, generating positive feedback from clients.

"New technololgy is very important in our line of work," he asserted. "Clients absolutely love it. There's a massive difference. These are extremely comfortable and supported and improrve the life of the mattress."

Gourdie also revealed that Silentnight is in partnership with Jaybe folding beds to promote their products and will be launching new mattress products, including a mattress in a box, from the UK within the next two months and will be working in close collaboration with the UK parent company.
