Dunes Hotel Apartments ushers in "Hi", its new Happiness Initiative
Dunes Hotel Apartments launched its new Happiness Initiative, dubbed "Hi", on the duly designated International Day of Happiness, March 20th.
“Inspired by Dubai’s National Happiness and Positivity Programme we wanted to launch a corporate initiative focused on spreading joyfulness and creating a positive environment for guests and employees alike. At its heart, Hi is about celebrating everyday happiness and delighting our guests by going over and beyond the line of duty. It is also about continuing to make our employees feel valuable and making Dunes a happier place to work. Our focus as an organization will be about creating little moments of surprise and personal, genuine and happy human interactions everyday,” declared Dunes Hotel Apartments general manager Faisal Abdul Rahman.
As part of the initiative, a series of "happiness actions" will be introduced across day-to-day functions in the apartment chain's operations, such as in the areas of front Desk, room service, F&B, HR as well as the group's loyalty programme Dunes Hadiya.
From among front line staff across the group's three properties in Al Barsha, Oud Metha and Muhaisnah, a Happiness Ambassador is leading the initiative per property. These Ambassadors, selected based on positive attitude and track record for customer service excellence, will be provided with special training and empowered to use personal initiative and creativity in order to achieve and go beyond guests' expectations.
The apartment chain also intends to establish a "Happiness Zone" in order for its community of guests to engage with one another and socialise in enjoyable activities.
