New Barilla campaign celebrates women in the UAE

The newly launched 'Bravo to You' campaign aims to champion women and participants will be eligible to win a trip to Italy

Barilla, the Italian pasta brand, has announced the launch of its ‘Bravo to You’ campaign to recognise and appreciate women in the United Arab Emirates throughout the entire month of March.

In the lead up to Women’s Day on 8 March and Mother’s Day on 21 March, Barilla marks this month to encourage families to recognise the females in their lives. ‘Bravo to You’ will highlight the importance of positive feedback by encouraging families to nominate the leading ladies in their lives and explain why they should be recognised.

Barilla MEA managing director Loay Elkhouly said: “The mission of this campaign is to explore the different meanings of the word ‘bravo’, and through that understanding, show gratitude to someone special that you believe deserves the recognition whether it be a mother, a sister, a friend, or a female colleague. At times we find it difficult to express our gratitude for others; the ‘Bravo to You’ campaign gives everyone a chance to communicate this message.”

As a way to thank mothers, Barilla will give away various prizes, including the chance to win a trip to Italy through a raffle draw as well as gift hampers containing Barilla products.

Elkhouly continued: “It is not only about appreciating these women, but about giving something in return as a way of thanking them for their boundless support, hard work, and love.”

The campaign will start this week across 10 malls in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, including Mall of Emirates, all City Centres, City Walk, Mercato Mall, Marina Mall, and Yas Mall.
