The United Arab Emirates (UAE) cabinet in Abu Dhabi has adopted a decision to grant visas for Chinese visitors to the UAE upon arrival.
Visas on arrival will be granted to Chinese visitors in the UAE, in a decision made to boost tourism and trade, said UAE prime minister and ruler of Dubai Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid al-Maktoum, according to local media.
Dubai is keen to develop traffic from other source markets in the wake of economic slowdowns in Russia and some European countries, reports AMEInfo.
Last year Dubai welcomed 450,000 Chinese tourists, an increase of 29% from the previous year.
