He then worked in London and Spain before he took on his current role in Dubai.
Tiwari is fluent in Spanish, and is also experienced in writing restaurant concepts, project management and opening new properties.
Melia Dubai has also appointed Ralf Drotleff as chief engineer of the Dubai property.
The German-native graduated from German technical university - Hochschule Mannheim Frankfurt with a degree in engineering.
Drotleff has more than 20 years of experience working in Spain, USA, South America, and the Middle East.
His expertise spans across healthcare, technical services, construction and the hospitality sector.

He broke into the hospitality sector when he took up the role of technical area manager EMEA with Melia International in Spain.
The final of the three appointments is Anuj Nainta, who has been promoted to food and beverage manager at Melia Dubai.
