Raqtan Foodservice Equipment Company was first established in 1976.
Tell us about your company’s growth?
Over the last five years we have enjoyed almost 80% growth in sales and about 70% growth in manpower.
What are your core products and services for the hospitality industry?
We provide industrial / commercial kitchen equipment, water filtration solutions, fire suppression systems and manufacture and customise stainless steel items as well as chiller rooms for commercial kitchens. Our services span the gamut from initial consulting and design to preventive maintenance and troubleshooting services.
What is your best seller?
Our top sellers are coffee machines and refrigerators.
What new products have you launched recently?
Along with customised fire suppression systems and water filtration solutions, we’ve recently introduced a new cold room configuration to the market. This model makes the installation and maintenance of our chiller rooms much more efficient.
What is the latest news from Raqtan?
Raqtan has become a major provider to the casual and quick service restaurant chains in recent years, while maintaining its good relationship with other segments in the market. We have become a well-rounded company that can offer subject matter expertise and proper service to our clients and partners. Raqtan now can offer end-to-end solutions.
What else can we expect from you in 2015?
The growth we have seen in the past few years is astounding, and we don’t see it slowing down any time soon. By enhancing after sales service, being more efficient and punctual, and providing better value to our clients, they can definitely expect more.
