Abu Dhabi-based Rotana will open two new properties in Istanbul next month, marking the group’s debut in Turkey.

The Burgu Arjaan by Rotana will comprise 162 rooms, while the 156-key Tango Arjaan by Rotana will feature studios, one- and two-bedroom suites.

The two hotels will share facilities such as the lobby, lounge café, business centre, fitness club, swimming pools, and restaurants.

The group has also signed agreements for two other properties with Turkish developer Dap-Yapi, including the Dalga Residences by Rotana and Vazo Residences by Roana, both of which will be located in Maltepe and will add a further 272 keys to Rotana’s existing inventory.

Rotana president & CEO Omer Kaddouri said: “A breakthrough into Turkey is a significant achievement for Rotana as it’s a crucial territory to penetrate for us to solidify our standing as the leading hotel management company in the region.

“The new properties will offer Rotana’s signature blend of comfort and refinement, complemented by state-of-the-art business and leisure facilities and a choice of dining options.”

Dap Yapu chairman Ziya Yilmaz added: “Rotana is a trailblazer in the Middle East hospitality scene. The Rotana brand brings decades of expertise and a proven track record in hospitality management, and their well-timed entry into the Turkish market promises to shake up the competitive dynamics of Istanbul’s hotel sector.

“We are very proud to have someone of Rotana’s repute as our partner at a time when we are aggressively seeking to expand our presence in the Turkish hospitality landscape.”
