Palmon Group executive director Kunal Lahori has founded Pret To Go with its first branch opening in DIFC.

The venue will offer a wide selection of food for the “person-on-the-go” looking for a quick breakfast, lunch or supper.

Lahori said: “Pret To Go was born from the simple desire to bring flavourful, handcrafted food to busy working communities within the UAE, that also supports a commitment to local suppliers, organic ingredients and healthy cooking methods, enabling people to eat and feel good.

"Our food has no additives, preservatives or colourants, as I strongly believe that there is no such thing as junk food. There is junk and there is food."

Offerings include British breakfast cereals, French and Italian bakery delicacies, American style bagels, crisp baguettes, sandwiches including peppered beef pastrami, featuring grass fed, all natural beef and The Scottish Way, comprising Scottish smoked salmon on caraway seed bread.

Toasties, fresh salads, hot and cold Mexican and Arabic wraps and hot pots including quinoa risotto with wild mushroom and Bangkok classic Thai chicken curry are also available.

Initially starting in the DIFC, Pret To Go plans to expand, taking the concept to Dubai's business hubs. Sites confirmed for Q1 2015 include Marina Plaza and the Jebel Ali and Dubai Airport Freezones.
