The Ajman Palace Hotel gets HACCP certification
Recognition after inspection of food processes in the hotel's kitchens
The Ajman Palace Hotel was awarded HACCP certification in November 2014 following a thorough inspection of food processes in its kitchens, restaurants and coffee shops.
The hotel's general manager, Ferghal Purcell, said: "HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point) ensures strict adherence and implementation of food safety procedures in hotels and food establishments. This is no small feat for any hotel and we are truly delighted to obtain it.
"Ultimately, it is a reflection of the high quality and superior standards followed by The Ajman Palace Hotel in every aspect of our restaurant operation. It is also testimony to the enormous hard work and dedication put in by our team day in and day out to ensure the highest level of food hygiene, that in turn, results in a memorable dining experience for our guests."
In order to obtain the certification, the hotel went through a detailed analysis and scrutiny of various food procedures from procurement, storage and handling of food products to processing, cooking, distribution and consumption.
It also includes a process of regular checks and audits that will be strictly followed by The Ajman Palace Hotel to ensure the systems are in place and effective at all times.
Restaurants available on site are Encore Bistro (international all-day-dining restaurant), Dragon’s Place (Japanese restaurant), Nojoom Lounge (outdoor shisha lounge), Encore Café (coffee shop) and H2O (poolside lounge).
