Cle Dubai opens doors with star-studded event

Clé Dubai launched on Saturday, October 11, in the presence of international celebrity guests who flew down to Dubai especially for the event.

The Hilton sisters, Paris and Nicky, were in attendance, along with American television personality Khloe Kardashian; Victoria’s Secret models Alessandra Ambrosio and Irina Shayk; and Akon.

Clé Dubai is located at the Al Fattan Currency House in Dubai’s International Financial District, and also serves as an arts and performance venue with a bar and lounge, VIP area and an alfresco terrace overlooking the Burj Khalifa.

The venue can cater to over 300 people seated or in excess of 1,000 in standing capacity.

The launch night also saw Bollywood celebrities including Hrithik Roshan, Dino Morea, Nargis Fakhri, Esha Gupta, and Fardeen Khan and local personalities.

Cirque Eloize performed on the night, a group that is known for its contemporary circus arts. The guests were able to sample dishes from the menu through the live food stations, along with an array of cocktails created by the international mixologists.

"The support that we received from our friends who’ve made this launch a resounding success is overwhelming. Our sincerest gratitude goes out to all of you especially to those who travelled from different parts of the world to join us. We can assure you that this is just the beginning. We’ve got more surprises in store," said Duncan Fraser-Smith, CEO of Global Hospitality Limited, the company behind the concept of Clé Dubai. Fraser-Smith is also the founder of The Cutting Edge Agency.

On the night of the launch, the owners also revealed their plans to expand in Asia, Europe and Australia in the coming years.
