The Rixos Bab Al Bahr hotel is to open on Al Marjan Island in Ras Al Khaimah in February, 2014.

The opening of the self styled “All Inclusive - All Exclusive” resort marks Rixos Hotels’ second property in the country, following the Rixos The Palm, Dubai, with the Rixos Bab Al Bahr having slipped from a previous opening date of October 2012.

Speaking about the opening, Rixos Hotels chairman Fettah Tamince said: "We are delighted to welcome all visitors from the region and overseas alike to Rixos Bab Al Bahr to enjoy our genuine Turkish hospitality. We invite them to discover the Rixos dimension of the ultra all inclusive – all exclusive concept, complemented with years of expertise in delivering similar outstanding experiences in our premium Turkey resorts and villas. Being the first “All Inclusive – All Exclusive” property of this magnitude in the UAE, pioneers a unique destination to be explored and cherished.”

The 655 room resort is made up of three pyramid shaped buildings which combine together to act as one complex, with a main central courtyard that includes a swimming pool with linked waterways.

The hotel will also offer a choice of 14 food and beverage venues, including nightlife spots Entertainment Square and the Night Club, which will host international DJs.

Other features of the hotel will include a Rixos Royal Spa and Turkish Hammam, the Rixy and Teen’s Republic club and a range of sport activities, as well as on-site souks for guests to pick up souvenirs and local artefacts.
