Atelier M restaurant and bar opens in Dubai Marina
Chef-driven concept to serve French cuisine with Asian influence
Atelier M, the chef-driven restaurant, lounge and bar concept is now open in Dubai Marina's Pier 7.
Spread over the top three levels of Pier 7, the restaurant serves French contemporary cuisine with an Asian influence.
The design features use of classic materials including rare woods and marble paired with rich colours and bold, geometric shapes, mirrored surfaces and eye-catching chandeliers.
Atelier M is headed by Mohammad Islam, who has previously worked in some of the USA’s most celebrated restaurants including Mercer Kitchen and Chateau Marmont. At Atelier M, Islam will oversee the kitchen staff and F&B he has handpicked for the restaurant.
Centered on a sharing concept, the menu features appetisers like yellowfin tuna with jicama, coriander, ponzu, chilli and crispy shallots or in season white asparagus, poached hen’s egg, herb salad and sour cherry compote or delectable entrees such as lobster bococcini and Alaskan king crab.
The bar will offer a range of cocktails, including molecular and vacuum boiling techniques and prohibition era mixes, in keeping with the outlet’s art-deco theme. The wine list will focus on European vintages, particularly Mediterranean coastal areas and small, specialist growers.
The restaurant and lounge concept also includes an open-air rooftop garden with views of the Marina waterfront.
