Jas Hospitality to tap into the hotel scene
Group to expand their portfolio of F&B concepts
Jas Hospitality, the group behind the concepts of Dubai-based home grown restaurant Qbara and upcoming Fume, has revealed that the company may work with the hotel industry.
Joint venture between Jas Group, Elmar Pichorner and Patrick John, the vision of Jas Hospitality is to create a portfolio of unique, eclectic home grown F&B concepts to export globally. The company now reveals that it may join forces with the hotel industry.
Jas Hospitality managing director, Ammar Al Alwan said: “We will be launching more experiences, expanding our portfolio of concepts, and will potentially tap into the hotel scene, but not as you know it. We at Jas Hospitality like to work with like-minded people from all over the world. They must have the same mindset in thinking outside of the box.
“Dubai has had its fair share of globally recognised franchises and brands. It is now time to push the boundaries in terms of creativity and encourage the expansion of home grown concepts internationally.”
The group’s concepts are developed by a team of experts who take inspiration from around the world. Al Alwan explained: “We continuously travel to monitor the latest trends that are on the horizon and watch the world market in food fashion to see the opportunities and gaps in this fast and changing market.”
The latest brainchild of the group is Fumé, set to open in March. Al Alwan describes the venue as “a neighbourhood eatery, featuring uncomplicated, affordable food based on quality ingredients, and served in a relaxed, fun environment”.
Fumé follows on from the successful Qbara, which according to Al Alwan, was developed to fill a gap in the market. The stand-alone restaurant offers Middle Eastern cuisine with a twist.
Executive chef Colin Clague has already voiced the desire for Qbara to be expanded abroad, which is something Jas Hospitality encourages.
