Al Bustan Centre and Residence in Dubai has recorded a 15% increase in revenue from its conference and banqueting facilities in Q1, 2013 compared to the same period last year.

The hotel has had to add 600sq.m of meeting space to its existing banqueting halls and seven meeting rooms to cater to demand.

Chief operating officer Al Bustan Center & Residence, Moussa El Hayek, said bookings were almost full for meeting rooms and banquet halls.

“Last year, we opened seven meeting rooms to accommodate smaller groups,” he continued.

“We are seeing a rise in demand for this kind of services from companies for their department meetings, trainings and seminars.”

The property’s meeting rooms and banquet halls are equipped with a variety of multi-purpose facilities such as projectors, screens, sound system and Wi-Fi services.

The hotel added that staff at the property had been trained to assist the guests in “planning and delivering a memorable event with highest standards”.
