Shangri La Abu Dhabi partners with Red Crescent

Hotels to donate portion of earnings to UAE charity during Ramadan

 Shangri La Hotel Qaryat Al Beri Abu Dhabi and Traders Hotel Qaryat Al Beri Abu Dhabi have partnered with the UAE Red Crescent Society to donate a portion of their earnings on bookings during the holy month of Ramadan.

 The Ramadan package rate at the Shangri La Hotel begins at AED 670 (US $182) for a deluxe room, of which AED 50 ($14) will go to the Red Crescent Society. At the Traders Hotel, AED 30 ($8) will be donated to the Red Crescent for every AED 350 ($95) superior room package booked.

Shangri-La Hotel, Qaryat Al Beri general manager Arbind Shrestha said: “Partnering with Red Crescent for a good cause this holy month reconfirms the corporate social responsibility of the Shangri-La Hotel, Qaryat Al Beri and Traders Hotel, Qaryat Al Beri hotels. This outreach effort is among our various commitments to promote a positive change in our community.”

Red Crescent will also set up donation boxes for second hand garments in the lobby areas of both hotels for guests who wish to contribute to the charity.
