Cravia announces $7mn sales growth during 2012
Parent company of Cinnabon says success down to 'motivated employees'
Cravia, parent company of Cinnabon, Seattle’s Best Coffee and Zaatar w Zeit has announced sales of AED 27 million (US $7million) during 2012.
Individually, Zaatar w Zeit experienced 23%, with sales increasing by 42% and online ordering making up 7.8% of total delivery transactions.
Next year will see Zaatar w Zeit enter Saudi Arabia, opening its biggest branch to date on Al Tahlia street.
Cinnabon enjoyed a 7.7% increase in sales, and the number of open stores reached 36 in 2012. Stand-alone Seattle’s Best Coffee outlets opened up in Grosvenor Business Tower and HSBC branch five, Dubai.
Cravia CEO Walid Hajj believed the successes were down to motivated employees.
“They believe in the company as we do, and work just as hard to continue to make our name and brands a success, he said.
“Hajj added, “Growth and expansion have been our pillars and trademark over the years. At Cravia we always strive to be the biggest and the best at what we do, and the figures continue to confirm that we are on the right track,” Hajj added.
