A light aeroplane crashed into a ferris wheel at a funfair 150m north of Sydney, Australia, on Saturday, according to media reports.

Neither the pilot, his passenger, nor the two children who were on the ride, were seriously injured.

It is thought the pilot misjudged his take-off, causing the crash into the wheel at the Old Bar Festival in Taree.
