Visit Britain launches 2012 training for agents

Special online training programme rolled out for travel trade

VisitBritain, the UK's national tourism agency, has launched a brand new 'BritAgent' online training programme designed to help travel agents sell Britain as a great place to visit during 2012.

Great Britain You’re Invited - 2012 will train up agents about the thousands of events set to take place throughout 2012 in Britain, as well as during the Olympic and Paralympic Games.

As well as details of all the Olympic events taking place, the programme covers topics such as accommodation and transport during the 2012 Games. It also provides inspirational ideas for amazing things to see and do across the UK, and information and planning for other events occasions taking place next year, such as the Diamond Jubilee and World Pride.
