Kuwait will shorten its nightly curfew and reopen facilities across the country this week.

Now entering the third phase of its coronavirus action-plan, the Gulf country will reopen resorts and hotels, as well as resume taxi operations from July 28.

Private sector offices will recommence business with 50 percent of their workforce.

Mosques will also be open for Eid al-Adha prayers.

The curfew put in place by authorities will now begin an hour later at 9pm local time and end two hours earlier at 3am. The decision will be reviewed after the Eid break.
