Two Seasons Hotel Dubai wins accolades for corporate social responsibility and sustainability initiatives

Two Seasons Hotel & Apartments Dubai received the first runner up award in the hospitality category at the Arabia Corporate Social Responsibility CSR Awards.

Participants were awarded across 11 categories in the 12th cycle of the Arabia CSR Awards at the Ritz Carlton in DIFC on Wednesday.

The awards aim to raise the standard of regional companies when it comes to their corporate social responsibility and sustainability initiatives. Criteria’s are based on United Nations Global Compact Principles, Global Reporting Initiative Standards and the European Foundation for Quality Management.

Freddy Farid, managing director of Two Seasons Company said: “We are proud to be recognised for our hard work to improve the sustainability practices and CSR activities in our property. We work actively to effectively participate in serving the society which we are part of its fabric and work to transform Two Seasons Hotel into one of the largest environmental hotels in the region. As we devoted our efforts of waste collection, recycling, voluntary work, publishing and even instilling it inside the employees. From this platform, we also thank all Two Seasons personnel for this level of awareness and dedication in keeping the company's approach in this context. ”

Instituted in 2008, the Arabia CSR Awards marked its 12th anniversary this year. The Sustainability Benchmark of the Arab Region, the Arabia CSR Awards have grown and expanded its ambit considerably during the past decade.
