Indian vacation home rental platform SaffronStays plans to expand in Dubai
The company hopes to have 600 properties on its platform as part of its international expansion
SaffronStays, an Indian vacation home network has revealed that it plans to expand to Dubai.
According to sister title Arabian Business, the company ‘hopes to have 600 properties on its platform by 2020 as part of an international expansion that will include Dubai’.
The company’s founder Davendra Parulekar told Times of India, “For the time being, we are looking at exotic destinations like Bali, Sri Lanka, Dubai and London are our target locations and planning to expand in these countries within a span of two years”.
Part of their expansion plans include onboarding heritage homes, farmstays, luxury stays and villas that cater to large groups and events.
The company doesn’t own properties on its platforms. They “monetise estates by turning idle investments into earning assets”. They also curate boutique homes and partner exclusively to manage the hospitality operations, branding, marketing and reservations.
