Haynes Robinson: Haynes Robinson's new Sahar rug collection is designed by the eponymous American carpet designer who travelled to remote southern Iran to connect people of diverse religious, political and cultural backgrounds through art, colour and design. The traditional Persian knots, passed down to the women of the Qashqai tribe by their ancestors, are used to create each carpet. Wool is gathered from local flocks, steeped in natural dyes and worked and spun by hand, with each rug taking six to nine months to weave. The Orientalist Woven ArtTel: +971 4 394 6989Web: www.theorientalist.com
