Our client in Abu Dhabi are looking for an experienced female HSE Manager with experience of working within the food services/catering industries.

You will be responsible for ensuring that all the Company’s HSE requirements outlined in the Health, Safety & Environmental Management System (HSEMS) are carried out and monitored periodically or at the start of new activities. Advise Management on all HSE issues including the changes to the HSEMS and any standards and procedures that have been updated due to new activities or revised legislation etc. Ensure Risk Assessments are carried out by competent persons for all high-risk activities within the company’s facilities.

Coordinate and plan the Company’s HSE training and develop, review, follow-up and update the HSE standards/requirements for all disciplines on Company level (criteria, syllabi, matrixes) in accordance with international training standards and procedures. Ensure coordination of all HSE activities and prepare periodic reports to Management. Carry out regular and frequent food hygiene audits on all Catering Division sites to assess the food hygiene Company standard and identify food hygiene risks. Take corrective action when food hygiene risks are identified to ensure compliance with Company standards. Continually upgrade and oversee the food hygiene standards of the Company by planning new systems and policies. Take food samples and swabs when necessary to ascertain risks.

To qualify for this role you should have a relevant qualification and be conversant with company quality assurance programs and ISO standards. You must have previous experience of working in a similar role for a catering or food services company and ideally some knowledge of hospital catering/ food services. You will possess excellent man-management and organisational skills and be an effective communicator at all levels. You should have good administration skills and be adept at report writing.

Salary: AED 15k pm + benefits
