Will iPads change the entire dining experience?

I feel that iPads have the capacity to change some dining experiences, such as young, hip, single, fast food oriented venues, like what Starbucks is to laptops. The fun and freedom to Wifi your own food order through to the kitchen with what ever variences you wish, communicate directly with the people cooking your food is "simpatico". So yes there is a market and maybe long overdue need for something just like this. Though this new concept will have a tough time finding its way to Fine Dining where the mental mode is very different. As Aidan said, thought, conversation, laughter and just plain human contact rule, along with the pure stilling enjoyment to just concentrate or not concentrate on the beautiful ambience, decore, impeccable service and food rule the mind.
