Hi, We are premiere recruiting firm based in Sri Lanka and also we represent around 40 Universities & Institutions around the globe, mainly Australia,New Zealand,UK, Malaysia & S'pore. In most of these Campuses they offer Hospitality programs which are recognized the world over. We are interested in Setting up Hospitality training centers around major cities in KSA if any Saudi National could come forward as a Investor. I think this will be the only solution for this problem.

I worked in Saudi between 2005 & 2010. I think it is quite amusing how Companies in Saudi tried to implement the Saudiaztion scheme. Saudi owners of Extra large Co's - SMI's prefer to employ expatriates because, they cannot exploit their own nationals easily with the Labor & GOSI rules. Another aspect is that key decision makers in recruitment in these companies, are expatriates [or "new Saudi's"], who deliberately give the Saudi's a job that they are denied systematic / proper training, or one that they will get bored with, and commence missing work days. Then that becomes an excuse to sack them. I was the Operations Manager of the agency of the largest Bank [by capitalization in Mid East], and my job was to sell credit cards. I had on my staff, around 20 Saudi & a few other Arab ladies; and around 25 Saudi males and of the total sales staff, we had only around 5 expatriates. While initially, I found it quite comical and difficult, because they were not used to a "work culture", their performance after the first two months, was above par. I found young Saudi's very intelligent and properly motivated, extremely good in selling, trading, etc. When my Sponsor started to play around with their salaries & commissions, they left our Agency [some to be Supervisors], fully trained, and joined big MNC Banks, like SABB, Saudi Fransi & SAMBA. All this nonsense about their being unemployable, is fabricated. It was my pleasure to work with them; it was a pleasure to teach them, what they did not know; and an equal pleasure, to learn what I did not know from them. Later I even worked with a big company [in the top 50 Co's in KSA], and I found this true, Saudiaztion, does not work, because the owners themselves, don't want it to work!! The Government is on the right track in being more strict on the employment scene in KSA.
