The Dubai-based Najibi Investments’ Australian development arm, Sanad Capital, has revealed the brand name of its US $270m (AED1bn) recreational project, which has so far been code-named Actve.

Actventure will become the first and largest active lifestyle destination in Australia bringing families and active sports enthusiast under one roof.

"Actventure is a brand that represents values we hold in high esteem; being lively, authentic and optimistic," said Najibi Investments executive chairman Talal Y. Najibi in a statement.

Jak, the destination's mascot was also revealed by Sanad Capital, appearing with Actventure's new logo and creative designs on banner-mesh surrounding the project's entrance.

Construction Week earlier reported that the project will comprise a world’s first ‘Wave Reservoir’, a waterpark and extreme water sports facilities, an Olympic standard training centre, a four-star hotel, a conference and exhibition centre, restaurants and retail outlets.
