Golden Sands Hotel Apartments has experienced a steady surge of guests from India, reaching 30% of overall guest composition in 2016.

Shazia Ahmed, Golden Sands Hotel Apartments sales manager (leisure) said: “We are pleased with the result of our participation in SATTE where we witnessed a great deal of opportunity for more visitors from India to visit Dubai and stay at Golden Sands Hotel Apartments. We received positive feedback and commitment from partners who will work with us in promoting Golden Sands Hotel Apartments to their customers.”

Ahmed added that Indian travellers visit Dubai because of “tax-free shopping, feel of luxury cars, purchase gold and land and the short travel time of about three to five hours.” Golden Sands Hotel Apartments received 30% of its guest from India because of its close proximity to the city’s main attractions, shopping malls and touristic destinations, Ahmed said.

Golden Sands is a fully serviced hotel apartment with rooms than can accommodate two adults and one child less than 12 years. Each room features a queen sized bed, a sofa bed, as well as a kitchenette, living/dining area and bathrooms with shower.

Golden Sands recently participated in SATTE, South Asia’s leading travel show, held in New Delhi. India has become the number one source market in South Asia for Dubai and the city attracted 1.8 million overnight visitors from India in 2016, a 12% growth over the previous year.
