Babaji has announced the launch of its first international venue outside of London at Dubai’s City Walk.

The Turkish restaurant serving 'pide' will open this Spring, bringing its interpretation of one of the Middle East’s staple cuisines – flatbreads, topped with everything from chargrilled courgettes to prawns or walnuts to Dubai.

The menu is supplemented by meze items ranging from tabbouleh salad, cheese and spinach borek and lamb shish served with red onion.

There is also a grill section serving dishes such as chargrilled baby chicken and grilled seabream served whole.

The space at City Walk's new venue is dominated by large-scale pide ovens and an open kitchen. Traditional Turkish tea and coffee will be served and there will be a dedicated baklava counter.

Conceived by restaurateur Alan Yau, founder of Wagamama, Hakkasan and Busaba Eathai, Babaji is open for breafast, lunch and dinner.
