Dubai’s upcoming Rosemont Hotel & Residences, which will feature an indoor rainforest, is now also expected feature robot-workers as part of the front of house team.
According to a report by The Huffington Post, the robot hosts will be located in the lobby of the Rosemont Hotel & Residences, in order to greet guests on arrival.
Speaking to The Huffington Post, ZAS Dubai managing partner DJ Armin said: “When you’re being dropped off at the hotel, you’ll have 4D animations on the ceilings, which change theme every week, or every night. Then you go into the lobbies, and you’ll be greeted by a robotic host.”
Armin also added: “Of course there will be a human host as well.”
The upcoming Rosemont Hotel & Residences will be operated by Hilton Worldwide and is expected to open in 2018.
