During Arabian Travel Market, which took place last week in Dubai, Emaar Hospitality Group director of operations Chris Newman revealed the group’s pipelines under its three hotel brands: The Address, Rove and Vida.
Plans for Emaar under The Address brand included the group’s first beach resort property, The Address Fujairah Resort + Spa, as well as new Downtown property, The Address Boulevard Dubai. Plans for the reopening of The Address Downtown Dubai also came under discussion at the conference.
The target for Emaar’s new “luxury midscale” hotel brand Rove, Newman revealed, is a pipeline of 2,660 rooms across 10 hotels by 2020.
Rove Downtown Dubai, Newman confirmed, is expected to open in May 2016. Emaar also revealed further plans for the Rove brand, with the announcement of the Rove Home Satwa, which will offer 480 hotels and 157 serviced residences for sale, making it the first serviced residences by Rove.
Also planned for Dubai are Rove properties in Oud Metha and Port Saeed, all expected to open this year.
Upcoming plans for Vida hotels include the first Vida hotel in KSA, with the launch of Jeddah Gate. Jeddah Gate will feature 202 hotel rooms and 162 serviced residences.
