Abu Dhabi Tourism & Culture Authority (TCA Abu Dhabi) has launched a new website (www.visitabudhabi.ae), allowing visitors to browse content in eight different languages.
The site will be available in Arabic, English, French, German, Italian, Russian, Japanese and Chinese, allowing travellers of many nationalities to learn about the emirate’s key offerings.
It also integrates a new search function, which searches real-time hotel deals and room availability, helping to boost numbers to the emirate’s properties.
The site will also act as a base when launching social media hubs on websites such as Facebook, YouTube, Flickr and Pinterest.
By the end of the year, TCA Abu Dhabi has announced that the site will expand its functionality by launching apps for iPhone and iPad, as well as including booking facilities for car rentals and flights, as well as featuring a host of interactive maps.
Hosted on the platform in June will be a competition in partnership with Anantara, which will give one e-newsletter subscriber the chance to have a 360° journey of Abu Dhabi.
