Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group has signed a distribution partnership with Destinations of the World (DOTW).

The agreement, signed at the Arabian Travel Market, will see Carlson Rezidor’s collection of six global brands and 1100 operating hotels, sold via DOTW’s worldwide network of more than 450,000 points of sales.

Global director of sales and marketing at the Rezidor Hotel Group, Yigit Sezgin, said the company was delighted to announce its first ever dynamic pricing agreement with a wholesaler.

“We believe that this partnership is critical as we look to expand our distribution around the world,” he asserted.
“In addition, the processes, security and technology that DOTW operates, is not only beneficial to us it’s also a great benefit to the travel trade.”

This agreement will allow DOTW to pull dynamic rates and inventory directly from Carlson Rezidor reservation system thereby increasing availability and adding incremental growth to the hotel groups business.

“Connecting into DOTW’s automated system means that we will automatically increase the inventory available from a small pool of a 100 hotels to over a 1,000. It’s truly a win win situation,” Sezgin added.

DOTW group managing director Keith Fernandez said the partnership would provide customers with “seamless access to another renowned hotel operator and its wide-ranging offering of hotels globally as well as the best available rates”.
“This direct connect partnership with Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group is another significant step and adds an additional 1,100 hotels to our portfolio, to best meet the needs of our distribution to over 450,000 points of sale globally," he added.
