Hyatt Capital Gate Abu Dhabi has opened Rayana spa, comprising four treatment suites and a couples’ suite located on the 19th floor of the hotel.

Spa amenities have been created by June Jacobs, a spa visionary with 30 years of experience who develops products free of parabens, preservatives, synthetic dyes and sulfates.

Rayana spa manager Melissa O’Neill said: “The spa is influenced by the beauty of the natural elements of Arabia, and is based on a wellness philosophy that provides result-oriented treatments.

“Rayana is a unique concept in the city — it affords spa visitors an immediate escape, while also drawing on the many elements of our desert surroundings, from rough-finished, neutral-coloured stone walls to soft, grainy wood of light grey tones. There are even desert gardens in the guest-centric treatment rooms.

“Rayana Rituals and treatments are inspired by local elements, designed to infuse power, beauty, and energy,” added O’Neill.

Each treatment room has a hydrobath as a central feature, with floor-to-ceiling windows that provide an uninhibited view of Abu Dhabi and the environmental element of natural light.

The spa also offers a gym, outdoor swimming pool, whirlpool bath, relaxation room and spa lounge.
