Al Faisaliah Hotel, A Rosewood Hotel, in Riyadh is set to welcome four Michelin star chefs to host The Globe Summit — a week of “sublime gastronomic excellence” being held from Febraury 13 to 18.
The Globe Summit, held in the three-story Globe Restaurant dome atop the Al Faisaliah Tower and sponsored by STC, comprises a series of seven-course dinners, intimate lunches, culinary seminars and a range of product viewings.
“Al Faisaliah Hotel is proud to once again host such a prestigious event and one that not only embodies the gastronomic excellence of The Globe restaurant, but also affirms Riyadh’s leadership position as the Kingdom’s leading culinary destination,” said Peter Finamore, managing director of Al Faisaliah Hotel.
“The Globe Summit is an event that is unprecedented in the Middle East and we look forward to welcoming both our longstanding and loyal patrons as well as the many visitors we expect to attend.”
The four Michelin star chefs hosting the events include Chef Julien Bompard, executive chef and owner of the renowned Le Saint Julien Restaurant and J’Bistro in Singapore and a recently appointed French Knight of the Order of Food and Spanish chef, Mauro Colagreco , executive chef and owner of Mirazur.
Joining them will be Peter Rudolph, executive chef at Madera, Rosewood Sand Hill in Menlo Park, California and Chef Rolf Muerner, Pâtissier extraordinaire, member of the Swiss Culinary National Team and winner of numerous awards including Pâtissier World Champion in 2007.
The chefs will be flown to Riyadh by Globe Summit sponsor Lufthansa, which is also flying in the fresh ingredients required for the many exquisite dishes on the menus.
